Red, White, and Blue Sangria

A light and refreshing, playfully patriotic way to celebrate the summer holidays! Enjoy a glass with friends and show your ‘Merica pride!


  • 23 medium gala apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 lb strawberries, stems removed and sliced
  • 2 6-ounce containers blueberries
  • 2 bottles Pinot Grigio
  • 1/2 cup Dragonberry Bacardi Rum, or other berry-flavored silver rum
  • 16 ounces sparkling berry-flavored water (unsweetened)
  • (optional) 1 cup apple or white grape juice


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate for about 24 hours to allow flavors to come together.
  2. Serve in a glass over ice with a festive straw!


  • To keep your apples from browning, try squeezing a little lemon juice over them after chopping
  • If you like your sangria on the sweeter side, try adding 1 cup apple or white grape juice.
